Geometric Measurements with Image Processing
Measuring geometric dimensions in several points of the production line, such as assmbly, cutting or marking stations, enables immidiate feedback for production process failure detection. Typical dimensions are diameter, width, depth, angles or relative position of parts. Using advanced tools enables pre-defined patterns matching, or alternatively patterns that are taken out of live samples. Taking the measures automatically, right at the point where the dimension is created, shorten the response time to problems and issues, reduces fault production ratio, and increases productivity.
